# OATMEAL

[Start Testing](/oatmeal/checklists/ebay-core-tests.md)

## Goals

The **O**pen **A**ccessibility **T**esting **M**ethods for **E**xperts **A**nd **L**ayfolk were created with two goals in mind:

1. Ensure consistent accessibility testing across eBay
2. Make detailed accessibility testing methods available to everyone; not just accessibility experts

### Issue Priorities

[Issue Priorities](/oatmeal/priorities.md) from P1 (most severe) to P4 (least severe) are given to issues found via OATMEAL tests.

### Accessibility Guidelines

Since eBay strives for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to Level AA, most OATMEAL methods will test to this standard.
